This policy explains what Beautiful Granite & Marble does with the information you give us through this website. We are a countertop shop in Commerce Township, Michigan. We are not in the data business, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.
What we collect
When you fill out the estimate form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, and details about your project. The form does not accept file uploads. Nothing on the form is required except the information we need to actually call you back about your countertops.
When you just browse, our web host records standard technical information — your IP address, browser type, and which pages you looked at. This happens automatically on essentially every website and we use it only to keep the site running.
Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served from our own website, not from Google. Nothing about your visit is sent to a font company.
Bot check. The estimate form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at browser and network signals to tell a person from a bot. Cloudflare receives that information; we receive only a pass or fail.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies to follow you around the internet.
What we do with it
We use your information to prepare your estimate, to contact you about your project, and to do the work if you hire us. That's it.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to marketing companies.
We share it only with people who need it to do the job — for example, a supplier we're ordering your material from — and with our web host and email provider, who store it because that is how websites and email work. We will also disclose information if a court or law requires it.
Photos you send us
If you text us pictures of your kitchen, they are used to quote and plan your job. We will not publish a photo you sent us on our website, our social media, or anywhere else without asking you first.
Photos we take
When we finish a job we often photograph the finished stonework, and we may use those photos to show our work. We photograph the countertops, not your family. If you'd rather we didn't photograph your job at all, tell us before we start and that is the end of it. If a photo of your home is already up and you want it taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, you're telling us we can use it to answer you — by call or by text — about the estimate you asked for. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting. We do not send marketing blasts and we do not give your number to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests for two years if the job doesn't happen, and seven years after completion if it does, because that's how long we may need job records for warranty, tax, and accounting purposes. After that we delete them.
Your choices

- ask what we have about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- tell us to stop contacting you
We'll take care of it within 30 days. There's no form and no charge.
Children
This site is for people hiring a countertop shop. We don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable care with what you send us. But no website is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything sensitive — we never need your Social Security number, and we never need your bank or card details through this form.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top.
